Wide Bracket
About

Financial decisions are wider than the question that first presents itself.

Wide Bracket is an independent edited publication focused on financial planning and household capital allocation.

What Wide Bracket does

A locally correct answer can still lead to a worse overall decision. Wide Bracket examines what changes when the decision boundary is widened — when related constraints, alternatives, timing, and competing uses of capital are brought back into a question that is often analyzed more narrowly.

Publishing model

Wide Bracket publishes original work by its editor and by invited and selected outside contributors. Articles are subject to editorial review, and published work is maintained as part of a durable publication record.

Work written by the editor is identified as such and is not represented as independently reviewed unless an independent review actually occurred.
